  24. 1.0  PRODUCT LICENSE AGREEMENT

  26. THIS IS AN EVALUATION COPY OF THE SOFTWARE. YOU MAY ONLY
  27. USE THE SOFTWARE FOR THIRTY DAYS. 
  28.  
  29. After thirty days, you must either buy the software 
  30. from McAfee Associates, Inc. or remove it from your 
  31. computer and stop using it. If you are evaluating 
  32. the software for corporate use and need longer than 
  33. thirty days, please contact McAfee to arrange
  34. an extended evaluation.
  35.  
  36. THERE ARE NO WARRANTY RIGHTS GRANTED TO YOU REGARDING
  37. THE SOFTWARE.

  39. YOUR RIGHT TO USE THIS SOFTWARE IS LIMITED. If you
  40. have already downloaded evaluation copies of this
  41. or prior versions of the software, you are not allowed
  42. to use this software, and you must immediately cease
  43. use of this copy and destroy it. To obtain full-use
  44. rights, you must register and pay for the product 
  45. with McAfee Associates, Inc.

  47. NOTICE TO USERS: CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING LEGAL

  54. THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. THE SOFTWARE MAY BE
  55. EVALUATED FOR THIRTY (30) DAYS ON A ROYALTY-FREE BASIS.
  56. CONTINUED USE AFTER EVALUATION IS CONDITIONED UPON PAYMENT.

  58. 1.  LICENSE GRANT. McAfee Associates, Inc. ("McAFEE") grants 
  59.     to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use 
  60.     the SOFTWARE for thirty (30) days for the purpose of 
  61.     your evaluation of the SOFTWARE. This license to use 
  62.     the SOFTWARE is conditioned upon your compliance with 
  63.     the terms of this license agreement. You agree you will 
  64.     only copy the SOFTWARE into any machine-readable or 
  65.     printed form as necessary to use it in accordance with 
  66.     this license or for backup purposes in support of your 
  67.     use of the SOFTWARE. You may:
  68.  
  69.       (i) UPLOAD THIS SOFTWARE TO ANY ELECTRONIC BULLETIN
  70.           BOARD OR
  71.       (ii) DEMONSTRATE THE SOFTWARE AND ITS CAPABILITIES.

  73.     YOU MAY NOT REPRODUCE OR DISTRIBUTE THE SOFTWARE FOR
  74.     RESALE OR OTHER COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, INCLUDING WITHOUT
  75.     LIMITATION THE BUNDLING OF THIS SOFTWARE WITH ANY
  76.     PRODUCT THAT IS OFFERED FOR SALE.

  78.     This license is effective until the thirtieth (30th)
  79.     day following the date you installed the SOFTWARE.
  80.     At that time, you must cease use of the SOFTWARE and
  81.     remove it from your computer, unless you have paid
  82.     the current registration fee. You may terminate this 
  83.     agreement at any point by destroying the SOFTWARE 
  84.     together with all copies of the SOFTWARE. Also, McAFEE 
  85.     has the option to terminate if you fail to comply with
  86.     any term or condition of this agreement. You agree
  87.     upon such termination to destroy the SOFTWARE
  88.     together with all copies of the SOFTWARE.
  89.  
  90. 2.  COPYRIGHT. The SOFTWARE is protected by United States 
  91.     copyright law and international treaty provisions.
  92.     You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual
  93.     property in the SOFTWARE is transferred to you. You
  94.     further acknowledge that title and full ownership
  95.     rights to the SOFTWARE will remain the exclusive
  96.     property of McAFEE or its suppliers, and you will not
  97.     acquire any rights to the SOFTWARE except as expressly
  98.     set forth in this license. You agree that any copies
  99.     of the SOFTWARE will contain the same proprietary
  100.     notices which appear on and in the SOFTWARE.
  101.  
  102. 3.  REVERSE ENGINEERING. You agree that you will not
  103.     attempt to reverse compile, modify, translate, or
  104.     disassemble the SOFTWARE in whole or in part.
  105.  
  106. 4.  WARRANTY RIGHTS. As this is an evaluation copy,
  107.     McAFEE makes NO WARRANTIES with respect to the
  108.     SOFTWARE. The SOFTWARE is distributed to you AS
  109.     IS, WHERE IS, AND WITH ALL FAULTS. In the event of
  110.     registration, McAFEE will grant you certain warranty
  111.     rights.

  113. 5.  NO OTHER WARRANTIES. McAFEE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE
  114.     SOFTWARE IS ERROR FREE. McAFEE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES
  115.     WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE, EITHER EXPRESS OR
  116.     IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED
  117.     WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
  118.     PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS.

  120.     SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF
  121.     IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN
  122.     IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, OR THE EXCLUSION OR
  123.     LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
  124.     SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY
  125.     TO YOU. THIS LICENSE GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS.
  126.     YOU ALSO MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM
  127.     JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.

  129. 6.  SEVERABILITY. In the event of invalidity of any
  130.     provision of this license, the parties agree that
  131.     such invalidity shall not affect the validity of
  132.     the remaining portions of this license.

  134. 7.  NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT
  135.     SHALL McAFEE OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR
  136.     ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR INDIRECT
  137.     DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE DELIVERY,
  138.     PERFORMANCE, OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF McAFEE HAS
  139.     BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN
  140.     NO EVENT WILL McAFEE'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM,
  141.     WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF
  142.     LIABILITY, EXCEED THE LICENSE FEE PAID BY YOU, IF ANY.

  144. 8.  GOVERNING LAW. This license will be governed by the
  145.     internal laws of the State of California. The United
  146.     Nations Convention on Contracts for the International
  147.     Sale of Goods is specifically disclaimed.
  148.  
  149. 9.  ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This is the entire agreement between
  150.     you and McAFEE, which supersedes any prior agreement
  151.     or understanding, whether written or oral, relating
  152.     to the subject matter of this license.
  153.  
  154. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  155. Any distribution or license of the SOFTWARE to the U. S.
  156. Government or its agencies or instrumentalities
  157. (the "GOVERNMENT") is made only with RESTRICTED RIGHTS.
  158. Use, duplication, or disclosure by the GOVERNMENT
  159. is subject to restriction as set forth in subparagraph
  160. (c) (1) (ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer
  161. Software clause at DFAR 252.227-7013, or as set forth
  162. in the particular department or agency regulations or
  163. rules that provide McAFEE protection equivalent to or
